Internet marketing - Facebook ads . One thing that is often overlooked when doing Internet marketing .
Take a look at these facebook ads
Get rich schemes . You really have to be careful where you advertise . Would you like your Internet Advertising along side this type of advertising . It may cheapen your brand or product offering to be along side of these types of ads.
I am a little shocked that facebook lets these guys advertise . Are advertising revenues drying up that much for Facebook that they have to allow get rich schemes to advertise .
Until facebook cleans up their advertising standards I would look else where .

People have often asked me how should I pick an SEO firm .
There are a few tips on picking the right SEO or Search Engine Marketing firm for your company.
1. Ask them what is the most important thing in completing Search Engine Optimisation for a website. I think the answer should be ROI not just rankings . If your not getting a return then what is the point.
2. They push either Search Engine Optimisation or just awords and say stay away from other forms of Search engine marketing . My thoughts are different products and services require diffrent search engine marketing strategies or mixes.
3. They don’t rank naturally for at least one of the following terms in top 5 pages of Google.com.au Search Engine Marketing , Search Engine Optimisation , SEO , Adwords , Internet Marketing … If they cannot rank their own site on these difficult terms then when it gets hard in your industry what chance do you have.
4. They ask for a setup fee with no guarantee they will improve your ranking. We don’t charge setup fees.
5. They lock you into a contract
6. They don’t provide you with meaningful feedback on keywords your trying to rank for . In terms of rough Google Estimates on search volumes.
7. They cannot supply references ( see point 3)
8. They use methods not approved by Google to rank your site. Please see webmaster guidelines
9. Cheap does not mean it will actually work
10. most of all they have to understand your company and the way it operates and your expectations

Just a quick note I noticed we are moving between page 1 top page 2 for Search Engine marketing in Google.com.au . Odd so we are in position 3-4 1 minute then page 2 the next . I know Google does some page up dates for popular keywords more frequently then less popular keywords . But we seem to be swaping spots with some company all the time . Search Engine Optimisation - Duplicate content Google Double Standard
From my understanding of Webmaster Guidelines that Google Publish a company should not own many domains with same content as this is considered Duplicate content.
I guess there maybe 2 sets of rules 1 for us and 1 for Google themselves
promotebusinessonline.com.au and 10steps.com.au both Google sites same content .
Yet both these sites have a Page Rank of 3 both with same content promoting adwords
is this a double standard or an oversight ?

Just noticed in adwords Google is serving adwords at the bottom of the page now as well .
WOW - Is this a sign that Search Marketing adwords spend is on the decline as they ads at the bottom of the page of Preium Yellow ads …
I believe they are making enough cash from advertising is means there could be upto 15 items per 1st page within Google …

1 of googles rules are not to create many websites and republish content on them
look at all about adwords ….. I know they are suffering slow down in advertising $$$ but should this content really be on adwords site…
I say we ask Google to ban this site from the index … They are using adwords to promote this site….

my questions is . Is it better to a link from a PR1 site with no other links or PR3 site with 30 links
I would suggest the PR1 with 1 link is worth much more then the PR3 site with 30 links
