I have noticed in Google.com.au alot of first page result sites are buying tons of links .

These links usually for pure SEO or Search Engine Marketing purposes to increase the sites page rank

These links are usally purchased via blogrolls on blogs . Lots of IT Support companies are doing it

No saying it is right or wrong I am just saying Google is droping the ball and cannot track blograll type link buying

I guess if your going to buy load os links you might as well use adwords
